KONVOI is inspired by real events and is about one of the greatest dramas that unfolded at sea during World War II.

In the summer of 1941, Hitler’s war machine seemed unstoppable. After subjugating much of Europe, Germany now invaded the Soviet Union. The Allies were forced to help.

Convoys of cargo ships filled to the brim with war materials began the perilous journey to Murmansk and Arkhangelsk. Risking their lives, they embarked on what was called “The world’s worst sea voyage.” Ordinary seamen, with no military experience, suddenly found themselves face to face with the German superiority in the icy Arctic sea.
