Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity Recap
Remote working has never been so much fun! As we promenaded the Croisette, among our favorite Cannes Lions 2024 moments were: getting tattooed at the Pinterest Manifestival, getting inspired by Es Devlin’s Film ‘There Is No Other’ at Meta Beach and watching the Kelce brothers talk about their podcast ‘New Heights’. Of course there was also swimming in the Mediterranean sea!
Not to mention all the wonderful parties and get togethers like the YoungDogs Underdogs Party, the Buma Music in Motion Music x Advertising Matchmaking Drinks, The Adformatie Oranjeborrel, the Oranje Bitter Ballen Borrel at the Embassy of Dutch Creativity and of course the legendary Young Meets Old party at Artbox Villa.
The main themes in the Palais and at inspiring (beach) talks about music were community and culture. Since we are a creative music agency, we couldn’t agree more. Advertising is becoming more about reaching, inspiring and protecting (!) communities through culture. What do the people in these communities do? What keeps them up at night?
